I've had the unusual experience of being able to pick up and pet 3 healthy wild birds over the years.
The first was a Cardinal that flew into our house, The second was a finch that also flew into the house. The 3rd was a dove in a wild garden. I was lucky enough to have my phone with me to record the experience.
