Business trade shows, expos, conferences and niche meetings are vital for the connections and research in all areas of product development, distribution, market research, design, manufacturing, marketing, logistics, licensing and more.

If you can't attend the events, make sure you read the website of the events and past events to read the biographies of the presenters of the seminars and workshops; many of them will be key influencers in your market and people you may want to contact for advice and connections. Look them up on LinkedIn to also see the list on the right side of their profile for people that were also searched for in their industry. In many trade show websites, especially previous year trade shows, there is a list of the exhibitors at the expo.  Many these companies are important for you to know about, for a wide variety of reasons.
