Southeastern Inventors Association
A non-profit, member led support group.
Education, Resources, Connections and Advice for inventors and folks with product ideas.
SIA is a valuable place to refer people who need to learn more about the inventor’s journey and need a reality check before spending any or more time and money on their idea.
Every month, at the general meetings, 40-50+ people listen to a presentation from an expert in some area of product development, manufacturing, distribution or business development. Sometimes we have inventor/entrepreneurs, with products on the market, share their journey and we learn their lessons from successes and mistakes.
Networking among our members and guests, before and after the meeting, provides a great deal of information, advice, experiences and resources.
Our general membership meetings are the 4th Saturday of the month.
(except November & December - usually the 2nd Sat.)
The knowledge you get from other participants is often more valuable that what you learn from our presentation.
We teach and practice "SAFE SHARING". (The problem I'm solving is... The current products and work-around options can't... My product will be able to provide these benefits...)
Meetings are at the Congress Hotel & Suites
